So you have a little naughty password hidden behind your browser's asterisks, and for some reason you couldn't recover it. I'm going to show you how to recuperate that in less than 5 clicks, using Google Chrome/Chromium browser. Note that this can also be done using Firefox, via Firebug extension.
First, right click on the password, and choose "Inspect Element". A menu will pop up as shown below (click the picture to enlarge):
Double click on the word "password" and change it to text. Hit Enter and the password will be shown.
